Senior Property Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Property Manager to join our client’s team on a fixed-term basis to support a government contract. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in lease negotiations, property management, and facilities support across our national portfolio of leased offices. This is a hybrid role requiring three days in our Melbourne office.
Key responsibilities:

  1. Lease negotiations: Lead lease negotiations for renewals and new sites, including sourcing and finalising agreements to ensure favourable terms for the organisation.
  2. Manage fit outs: Manage fit outs and make good process for leased offices, coordinating with in-house Facilities Management resources and preferred suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
  3. Monthly rent reviews: Review and approve monthly rent run to verify accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements.
  4. Support Facilities management team: Provide support to the Facilities Management team as needed, assisting with various operational tasks to maintain efficient office operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in lease negotiations, property management, and facilities management.
  • Familiarity with property management systems, preferably CoStar.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to travel if required.
  • 5 years experience in this fields.
  • Agents certificate required.

Durations and Location:

  • Fixed-term position until the end of 2024.
  • Three days per week in the office at Melbourne CBD.
  • Standard business hours.
