About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Facilities Manager to oversee the operations of a premium office complex in Sydney. This role focuses on maintaining building services to an exceptional standard, ensuring compliance, driving operational improvements, and enhancing the tenant and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage building operational services, including fire services, HVAC, lifts, electrical systems, and security.
- Supervise contractors for preventative and ad-hoc maintenance within operational guidelines.
- Implement and promote sustainability initiatives and monitor building performance metrics.
- Coordinate occupational health and safety compliance, contractor inductions, and fire evacuation training.
- Assist with the preparation and management of operational and capital expenditure budgets.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- At least 5 years’ experience in facilities management within A-grade or premium office complexes.
- Strong understanding of property and facilities management, with a focus on sustainability and compliance.
- Expertise in managing building management systems, contractor relationships, and operational efficiencies.
- Exceptional communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Desirable: formal qualifications in property, engineering, or a relevant trade.
