About the role
As an HVAC Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of HVAC systems within the facility. You will work closely with facility management, follow stringent security protocols, and contribute to the daily operations of the Building Management System (BMS). You will be part of a team of Senior Technicians responsible for maintaining various HVAC systems, including Air Handling Units (AHUs), Variable Air Volume (VAV) units, and central plant systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Adhere to strict access and security protocols, including biometrics and daily security screenings.
- Collaborate with another Senior Technician to manage HVAC system operations.
- Interact with the Building Management System (BMS), primarily Alerton, with limited remote access.
- Perform tool checks at the beginning and end of each shift and ensure proper tool management within the facility.
- Engage in regular maintenance of HVAC systems, including fan coil units, server room units, and chillers (supported by an external company).
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need extensive experience with HVAC systems, ideally within a high-security environment, and a strong commitment to following security protocols. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork are essential, while familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS), particularly Alerton, is highly desirable. You should also demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to HVAC maintenance and repairs.
