About the role

As the Facilities Manager you will be responsible for the integrated management and maintenance of the infrastructure of the asset, ensuring life safety, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency and innovation and environmental management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the delivery of the Facilities plan and all other strategic and asset planning initiatives for your asset.
  • Lead effective management of all maintenance and compliance tasks, ensuring documentation is accurate and centrally accessible in the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Provide recommendations on process and work practice improvements to ensure the delivery of maintenance and capital works.
  • Manage all Facilities resources and service providers delivering all maintenance and capital works; ensuring all projects are adequately resourced, properly inducted and trained.
  • Deliver day-to-day best in class facilities services in line with asset needs to deliver excellence in customer experience consistently in your asset.

About you

  • 10+ year’s experience in facilities management where customer service is at the core of what you do.
  • Diploma or tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Trade, Building Services or Facilities Management.
  • Strong commercial acumen and demonstrated experience balancing financial needs with technical outcomes.
  • Demonstrated skill in professionally managing contractor relationships, clarifying instructions to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to deliver in a dynamic environment.
