About the role
As an Facilities Estimator, you will evaluate and benchmark maintenance subcontractor proposals, analyse costs, and recommend vendors to ensure value and efficiency. Strong problem-solving and justification skills are essential, along with liaising with vendors for clarification as needed.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate maintenance subcontractor responses and compare costs.
- Provide clear recommendations on vendor selection based on value and quality.
- Justify decisions through strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Conduct cost benchmarking against other contracts to quantify contract value.
- Communicate with vendors during the evaluation process for clarifications.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have: - A background in facilities management estimation or a similar analytical role.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide well-reasoned justifications.
- Experience in cost evaluation and benchmarking across contracts.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to liaise with vendors.
- High attention to detail and proficiency in data analysis.
