With a substantial investment portfolio under management along with an impressive pipeline of projects, our client has created an opportunity for an Assistant Asset Manager to join their asset management team based in Melbourne’s CBD.
About the role
Working directly with the Asset Manager you will provide support to deliver strategic asset plans, with a key focus on customer engagement, leasing and managing the property managers. You will be supported by an experienced and professional inhouse team, including facilities management and finance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee property managers to ensure their management of tenancies, arrears and operational expenses.
- Achieve successful leasing outcomes.
- Execute and manage tenant retention strategies.
- Provide support in the development and implementation of asset management plans and strategies.

To ensure your success, you will be required to have:
- Formal qualifications in property (or related field).
- Experience working in commercial property, ideally in a similar capacity, property management, analysis or valuations.
- Commercial, financial and analytical acumen.
- Confidence to network and form relationships with agents.
- A desire to learn, with a proactive and confident attitude.
